Fort Edmonton Park

Fort Edmonton Park is settled on 64 hectares (158 sections of land) of lush parkland along Edmonton's River Valley. What started as a Canada Centennial venture in 1967 to remake the old Fort Edmonton, rapidly developed to incorporate significantly more. On account of the devoted efforts of the Rotary Club of Edmonton and the Fort Edmonton Foundation, the Park currently incorporates the 1846 Hudson's Bay Fort just as the Streets of 1885, 1905, and 1920, delineating the development of Edmonton's initial history.

Fort Edmonton Park is possessed by the City of Edmonton and worked by the Fort Edmonton Management Company. In November 2009, agents of the Fort Edmonton Management Company Board of Directors, the Fort Edmonton Foundation and Fort Edmonton Park and City staff worked with a universal attractions counseling firm to build up a refreshed vision for Fort Edmonton Park and an arrangement to accomplish that vision.
